My worst-case scenario is that I have Obsidian synced through Dropbox and dropsync on my Windows and Android, but then just have to manually browse my Dropbox files to take literature notes while on my iPad. ![]() But, since that’s not going to happen as far as I know, does anyone know of any third-party syncing solution that works cross-platform with Obsidian? Then read and highlight on onyx, and finally move back with zotfile and extract annotations. Ideally, I would be able to just use my Dropbox on all three platforms seamlessly. It may be that ipads softare is somehow better, but I work with dropsync/dropbox and zotfile and it works well enough: Designate which files you want to move over in zotero, move them with zotfile. Of course I know about Obsidian Sync, and while I’m happy to support the company (like doing the Catalyst support), I don’t want yet another subscription service. I also am unaware of any solution that would work with Android. Also, as I don’t have any experience with GIT, perhaps I am overestimating the bulkiness of the workflow. Maybe I just couldn’t understand the post. Manually pull, push, merge changes through ] GIT + Working Copy: I would love some system that seemlessly syncs through GIT, but Working Copy seemed bulky, like you’d have to use both Obsidian and Working Copy to make any changes. I’ve seen it recommended on the Discord, and checked it out but it seems like it’s mainly for self-hosted servers? The easiest way to ensure your iPhone and iPad stay in sync would be to use Dropbox as your primary means of cloud storage. Every update you make to your desktop file or folder will also reflect on, and on your mobile phone and tablet. Easiest: Use Dropbox to sync iPhone and iPad. Syncthing + Mobius: I’m not really sure what this does. Dropbox is still the best way to share big files. Yes, you can install a dropbox app and download files with that.
